Boys: This week you will be 28 months. You are little people with your own opinions, personalities and looks. You sometimes barely look related, let alone like triplets. In the last few months you have started doing soccer. This is your first successful class (swimming, fail). You love it! Whenever I come home on Thursday afternoons and you're all ready to go you immediately get excited jumping around "kick the soccer ball today!" "it's a soccer day!"
ANTONIO:
You are so fun and talking so much more now. You work so hard to say your brothers' names, and said "Harris" instead of "dubber" this week. You usually call them both "brother" but pronounce it "dubber." I'm happy to see you progressing, but always sad to see the little baby nicknames and words go. You still call yourself "Otto" but your brothers call you "Antonio" now. You read books, and give kisses and love to play golf in the back yard. I've been super cautious of any sign of sniffles or fever since our scare last July, but so far so good!
Harris:
You are still the most social and wave at everyone that comes in the house and want to give kisses to everyone who leaves. You like to make a baby face and pout out your lips and say "Harris so sad" when something doesn't go your way. Within 10 seconds though, you get over it, put on a huge smile and say "Harris happy now!" Your brothers clap and say "Yay, Harris Happy!" You also like to pretend to sneeze near your brothers just so the 2 of you can go through your little routine of "Bless you" "Thank you" "You're welcome" "All better go play now." At night I hear you trying to get your brothers to talk to you - - I used to do the same thing to my cousin Stephanie. Eventually you peter out, are furious that your blanket is not on correctly but wear yourself out.
Lawrence:
My favorite baby word you use right now is "YAP" (you mean "lap"). As in "Lawrence sit in your YAP?" "Put the toy in Laurie's YAP" You also say "YOOK!" instead of "look" and "Heyyo!" You call yourself Laurie. You are very attached to your two bunnies and your Elmo doll and ususally have to bring them out with you in the morning. This is upsetting to your brothers, as they want to have "babies" with them too. They like to pretend their babies are crying and then you all rush over to whoever's baby is crying and pat the baby and kiss the baby until it stops. "All better now baby?" Go play."
