Two years ago today at 1:52, :53, and :54 pm these sweet little boys were born bringing chaos and an unimagined life to our family. They made Amelia a big sister. They made us test our limits. But they made us what we are today -
Lawrence, Harris & Antonio
Some days are happier than others. Easter photos... CHECK.
ANTONIO
Antonio - you are changing so much lately. You are big on hugging your brothers, and you've gotten so good at sharing toys. You need to realize, however, that if your brothers don't want to be hugged, or don't want to share your toys, you need not SCREECH in their direction shouting demanding they accept said hug/toy. Mostly though, your brothers love your hugs, which frequently turn into tackle wrestling and OH MY GOSH you guys are such boys. This month you also developed a serious obession with balloons and we finally had to ban them from the house. The first thing you say in the morning is "balloon?" "ball?" "balllooooooooooonnnnn?????" and then you would find your ballon and hold it in your hand all day long, while eating, while changing your diaper, while drawing with chalk... So, you're going cold turkey for a while with no balloons. You have a big loud laugh and you love to pretend you are an animal and chase us around, you love to do "exercises" with me and do jumping jacks and races in the yard. You sing to yourself all day long. You love going to Amelia's softball game and cheering her on - you ran up and gave her a big hug after her last game when she got a hit. You are a sweet love.
HARRIS
Harris - you are so smiley, so friendly, so chatty and the most attached to momma. You love to be out and about in the world - you go to the garage door and ask almost every day, "Bye bye?" and when I say "yes" (which is not enough times I feel guilty about that) you jump up and down run and get your shoes "Yaaaaayyyy!!! Bye Bye!" You talk up a storm, sing your ABCs and Twinkle Twinkle little star, you are the best share-er giving your brothers whatever they want. You hate when they cry and look at me and ask "Momma Otto cry? Otto ok? Otto Harry hug???" You speak the most portuguese, and want to read all the portuguese books with Patricia and/or to your brothers. You love to dribble basketballs, you love to take turns doing things with your brothers, you love the new trampoline. You still don't love going to bed, and I hear you trying to keep your brothers up "Laurie??? AWAKE!" "Otto?? AWAKE!"
How STRONG are you Harris??
LAWRENCE
Lawrence. You STILL bite. Oy vey. Your poor brothers have backs covered with bite marks. Sometimes out of possessiveness and sometimes out of wrestling fun. You are VERY attached to momma lately and if you're in my lap and anyone else comes near, you assert "NO! MY momma!" You are also very close with Patricia and have recently been demanding that she give you milk or she be the one to change your diaper. Oh July is going to be hard when she leaves baby boy. You are a big smiler and big laugher. You love the ladies... whenever we go anywhere with new people, farmer's market, picnic, etc... you find other girls aged 1 - 100 it doesn't matter, and walk right up and say "Hi girls." You give them a wink and your big smile. You like to do the one-arm hug and wrap your arm around them too. You love to giggle and paint and hug.
How STRONG are you Lawrence?
HAPPY BIRTHDAY BOYS!!!!
