I cannot believe we are at 17 months already. I can't believe it's Halloween too! I felt like my little boys were their own little personalities last year, and this year even more so!

My little cat has grown up this year too:
Thankfully, these are not the only photos we have to capture all this adorableness. We had a photo shoot with our now family photographer, Leslie from Green Vintage Photography. She posted an early shot on Instagram and if this is the raw footage, I can't wait to see the rest:
If I had been in charge of this photo shoot, all of my photos would have looked like this:
Added blurriness for that special effect that cool Instagram effect. Bonus points for 3 kids going in 3 different directions.
Kid update:
Amelia - you are so fun right now. You are a fantastic big sister, so patient and so funny. We have gotten to spend lots of 1 on 1 time with you for soccer games and some after school mommy/daddy/amelia time. Your world consists of lists on post-it notes about animals you want to write about, games you want to play at night, music for the halloween playlist, things you want to buy with your money, charities you think we should contribute to, colors that are your favorite, movies you want to go see, movies you wish would be made, books you want us to buy in the Scholastic book sale, potential halloween costumes for yourself, the boys, the family, places you want to visit, names Brook and Matt should name their daughter, dogs you would like someday... if there's a list to be made, you will make it. You're reading tons of books and we can't keep up with all the books you want to read. We miss reading the little Amelia Bedelia books to you at night - but love hearing the update in the morning of the books you read the night before.
Antonio:
Antonio, you are still the easiest to get to bed, but that's where it ends. You spend 1/2 the day trying to climb up onto the coffee table, and the rest of the day screaming and throwing your food. You do not want to be fed, you want your own bowl, you want your own spoon. You were the last to learn the word "no" but you employ it frequently now. You still have the biggest smile, and the biggest giggle, but it's usually following a mischevious look and doing something you know you shouldn't. You want whatever toy your brother has and when your effort to steal it fails, you scream as though you were injured. Your walking is so great now that the therapists say you don't have to wear your ankle braces anymore. Obviously, your climbing skills are second to none. You love to dance and clap, and if anyone starts singing "no more monkeys jumping on the bed" you stop whatever it is that you are doing and dance and shake your fingers "no."
You're my littlest, blue-eyed peanut.
Harris:
Harris, you are my big baby bear. You have giant feet, giant hands, you wear 3T shirts and shorts and your smile and heart is just as big. You are the definition of sweet. You say "YaYa!" with such excitement when Amelia comes in the room. You snuggle and say "mama" or "dada" and look at us with such love. We had such a sad month when you hit your head and needed stitches. You were such a trooper at the urgent care, and even with your franken-nose and black eyes, you were still so smiley. The day after you got stitches, you were back on your feet and climbing on top of the table and your riding toys. You love letters, and want to hold up all the letters all day long and make letter sounds. You seem to be a fan of the number 9 lately, and get very angry if one of the boys takes away your nine.
Lawrence - you are so busy. You also are a big fan of climbing on the table, but you at least have the decency (unlike Antonio) to appear to get down when we ask you to. You are so talkative right now. Anytime we ask a question about who wants to do something "Who wants to eat?" "Who wants to go outside?" "Who wants to go on a walk?" You jump up ready to go and yell "I DO! I DO!" Lately you've been drawing it out longer "AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH DOOOOOOO!" And you push your way to the front of wherever we're going. You are saying so many words now - we were in the doctors office today, and while reading the letter book you said "apple" "yo-yo" "zebra". You point to Harris and Antonio and say "brother" and you say "my" whenever Antonio comes to steal your toy. You love to dance and your favorite is the little headbanger music on the iPad app for letters:
