Photos taken at 6 1/2 months in anticipation of Christmas photos by the lovely Leslie Callan www.greenvintagephotography.com
Outtake of all 3 - Antonio's face cracks me up here. Typical shot of Lawrence, he's always moving and trying to jump jump jump, and my sweet Harris is smiling at me....
Antonio - "How you doin' ladies?" The one eyebrow kills me and all three of them can do it. Antonio is still the loudest, having recently found his voice and likes to try out different and new screeches. This will be particularly awesome at 3am on our flight to Rio. He is the best eater, he has the biggest laugh and he loves to be around people. He likes books best of the 3, and wants to be the one to turn the page. He steals toys from all of his brothers. Interestingly, he wants to get everything in his hands, but he isn't interested in rolling over or moving around.
Harris - usually happy, usally a little bit baffled and stunned by life. Harris is my snuggly sweet boy. He loves to watch his brothers, and is very easy going when they steal his toy (Antonio!) or poke him in the eye (Lawrence!). He wants to just sit in your lap, thank you. He has the first tooth so he is beating his brothers at that so far. He just learned to roll over, but hates it when he does.
Lawrence - my mini-me. My brother said "It only took you 4 tries, but you finally got one that looks like you." Lawrence is my mover and my night owl. He likes to jump and move and bounce wherever he is, and he'd like you to bounce with him. He is the most observant, and "calls" to people with a very deep grunt (?) growl (?) when they come in the room and he wants them. It is totally different sound from his normal happy noises. He rolled over first, and does it quite a bit. He's probably going to crawl first.
And we can't forget big sister
Amelia, my sweet girl whose life we've turned upside-down. She is a great big sister, and the boys love her so much. When they get tired/cranky/hungry, we just call out to Amelia to come and say "hi" to them, and they light up. She gets them laughing and smiling when she sings for them.
Amelia was in Sound of Music last week so she has had some special, just Amelia time lately which she definitely needs. She's excited to play basketball this coming year at school with her friends and is already making lists of things to take to Rio for Christmas. She's such a fun age, and great company right now.
Feeling so lucky for where we all are ... also feeling sleepy.
