What we use

What we use on any given day:

- entire can of Similac Neosure
- between 30-35 diapers
- 24 bottles
- 1/2 a box of wipes
- 3 towels, and at least one outfit change
- 15-20 burp cloths

We do at least 2 loads of dishes and laundry a day.

The boys are doing great. We are trying to stretch their sleeping to at least one 4 hour stretch at night. Other than that they are up and eat every 3 hours. This is to ensure they get enough calories. Looking at their double chins, I think they are getting quite enough!

We had to institute a separator system in the crib. As cute as it was to see them holding hands, it wasn't as cute when they started whacking each other in the face at night.

Six weeks

Had the boys 6 week appointment and they are doing great! Typically preemies are on the low end of the percentile scale when compared to other babies their age so they typically "correct" their age when looking at weights. That means they use the date they were supposed to be born to compare them to other babies. So instead of being six weeks old, we compare them to one week olds.

However, these boys are doing so well and growing so fast they are in the 95th percentile when you use their corrected age and in the 40th/50th percentile even when you don't correct their age and compare teen to other 6 week olds.

Antonio - 9lbs 13 oz
Harris - 9lbs 11 oz
Lawrence - 9lbs 1oz

It's such great news how well they are doing! They are getting little double chins and fat rolls on their thighs - healthy babies!!!

So, today is the babies' due date! Can't wait for them to be born... Ha ha ha. I would be a gajillionity pounds if I was still carrying these boys.

Meanwhile, boys are continuing to do great and growing so big.

Out in the sun

The weather has been mostly gorgeous lately so I had to get out for a walk even if it was just around the neighborhood with the boys.

My baby limo with the car seats doesn't provide quite enough protection from the sun and it's a beast to maneuver. So I took them out in the stroller that I had seen on many triplet mom websites and it was great. The ABC Adventure buggy (you know, for adventures like walking around our practically gated community) had to be specially ordered from New Zealand but was worth it.
