Continued shopping ban
These were my favorite shoes growing up, even after I spilled bleach on them cleaning up at the coffee shop I worked at in college (shout out to The Bistro!). I think these might be my first post-shopping-ban purchase.

Not buying these today.
I saw these on a lady at a wine tasting/art event this weekend. I am not a fan of the gladiator sandal generally, but she was making these look so good, my friend and I actually had to approach her and ask her where she got them. Might have been the wine talking, but they are great. She said she also had them in brown. Which I appreciate.
If you are not on your own self-imposed shopping ban, these can be found at Nordstrom. But, of course.

Casual Friday.
Today my friend emails me some questions about Havaianas because (1) I'm Brazilian and (2) I know shoes. This caused me to peruse the Havaiana website, and while I already own 8 or 9 pair, I did see some I don't know if I can live without. But... shopping ban!
Happy Friday and maybe one of you will pick up a pair because these are too irresistable.

More reverse shopping!
J.Crew told me that this was the kind of jacket everyone needed in their closet.
I got it and decided that I didn't need it as much as they said. It was boxier and less flattering on me in real life.
And in additional NO SHOPPING news, I saw this necklace for only $22 at Overstock.com and am NOT. BUYING. IT. But maybe one of you will and will let me borrow it.

Reverse Shopping Success!
In the last week not only has there been no shopping, but I've actually done a little reverse shopping. These shoes:
I purchased these a couple of months ago, but now they are on sale at Nordstrom, a quick email to their customer service department got the difference automatically credited to me.
Then, I recently purchased this Pottery Barn "Daily System" and then noticed that 3 weeks later, the entire system was on sale an additional 20% off.
Again, went online to the "live chat" feature of Pottery Barn and got almost $100 refunded to me on my order!
A successful reverse-shopping day.

30 day shopping ban
I'm putting myself on a shopping ban. No clothes/music/shoes/accessories for the next 30 days. I do, however, still love to shop, so I will periodically be posting the results of my shopping on here and I bet in 30 days I no longer even want those items. This will be a good test of patience at willpower. Also, you might benefit from my shopping prowess as I find things you like.
Today's item that I want is a dress from Nordstrom that's 30% off and looks so comfy! Boo :-(
