The California State Fair. Land of the deep fried twinkie and other healty items. It's every year in August, which is lovely in Sacramento where our August weather tends to be in the low 100's. We were lucky to attend this fair on a cooler day. Since we arrived at 10am it was only 92 at that time. Aaahhhh... mid-90's weather, deep fried food and livestock. Quite a combination. But, for Amelia and her friend Elise, nothing was better than the petting zoo full of sheep, llamas, roosters, pigs, deer and wallabys!
