The wonderful uncle of Oz.

It's always a treat when Uncle Jeff comes into town.  Amelia loves to run around and jump all over him.  She loves waking him up bright and early around 10:30 am when he sleeps over.  This weekend he came and brought her a very elaborate Wizard of Oz book.  As this video with Daddy will evidence, she clearly loves the new book.

Not a good way to start a gorgeous sunny day.

My morning

This is my car.

This is my beautiful new sunny neighborhood.

Some people in it... well, they don't drive so well.

They think green means go, regardless of whether or not the cars in front of them are stopped.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The only think that makes me feel a teensy bit better is (1) we're all uninjured and (2) her car looks like this.

• Ponyos = pony tails (stolen from friend Elise)

And my favorite from last night

• Edamelia = edamame - might need to say this one out loud.

I had to leave this today and go to work. Boo.

Things that made Amelia mad today.

Things that made Amelia mad today.

1. That her milk was not warm enough.
2. Her diaper being changed.
3. When she spilled juice on her "twirly skirt" (resulting in crying "oh noooo!  my skiiiirt!").
4. When she tried to kiss her own elbow and couldn't. 
5. When I was unable to help her kiss her own elbow.
6. When she ate sand from her sandbox and it made her "teeth crunchy".

 

Things that made Amelia laugh out loud today.

1. Uncle Jeff.
2. Birds flying onto her sandbox.
3. Going on a bike ride.
4. Bugs "Funny" song - (her word for Bugs Bunny).
5. Taking a bath.
